rooming options
YOUR SACRED SANCTUARY AT BASUNDARI
Pricing ranges from $2899-$3499 per person
All rooms will have TWO TWIN BEDS except for our TWO private rooms.
Mewa and Kundalini will have a king bed and are reserved for those looking for a private sanctuary.
Images may show king or twin beds. If you booked a shared room, there will be two beds.
Each of Basundari’s 11 rooms is a soulfully curated sanctuary, designed to reflect the natural beauty and spiritual essence of Ubud. No two rooms are alike — each one holds its own story, charm, and energy. Whether you’re seeking quiet solitude or vibrant connection, there’s a space here that will feel like it was made just for you. Basundari will be exclusive to Goddess Within goddesses.
Some rooms open to sweeping views of the jungle canopy or the golden rice fields, where sunrise and sunset paint the skies in hues of magic. Others feature private meditation decks, inviting you to begin or end your day in stillness and reflection. A select few offer the luxury of a private swimming pool or private meditation deck — your own tranquil oasis beneath the stars. Each room will have two luxurious twin beds.
From cozy nooks perfect for introspection to airy, light-filled spaces ideal for social butterflies, Basundari offers a harmonious blend of privacy and community. Every room is thoughtfully adorned with natural textures, Balinese artistry, and grounding energy to support your journey of rest, renewal, and transformation.

Details
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY?
A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $500 (+ $35 processing fee) SAVES YOUR SPOT.
There are 2 payment dates, after the initial deposit, for your Bali retreat.

50% of your retreat balance is due by February 1, 2027.

Final payment, payment in full, due by April 1, 2027.
If booking after one or both payment dates, payment due within 7 days of booking. Payment amount will depend on retreat start date.
Payments can be check or cash.
Credit card payments are available and carry a 4% cc processing fee for US transactions. If paying internationally, fees may be higher.
All payments are final due to our commitment to the property and their policies, we cannot offer any refunds, transfers, or credits for cancellations for any reason (including legitimate ones like illness, injury, family deaths, or other emergencies. Full guidelines under terms and conditions.

DO I NEED TRAVEL/MEDICAL
INSURANCE?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. As travelers, we all know that life happens — family emergencies, work conflicts, weather disruptions, or unexpected changes of heart can affect travel plans. A policy (often under $150) can protect you financially if you need to cancel, adjust your trip, or access care while abroad.
Travel medical insurance is also important, as most U.S. health insurance plans do not cover international medical expenses.
Many travelers use Allianz Travel Insurance, and TravelInsurance.com is helpful for comparing prices and coverage. Be sure to read the details, ask questions, and choose the policy that best fits your needs.
AIRPORT + AIRLINE TIPS
IMPORTANT- DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE GROUP MINIMUM HAS BEEN MET.
Use Airport code DPS for booking flights.
Book your flights to arrive at DPS (Denpasar International Airport) on by 12:00 pm on June 14, 2027. This will allow time for customs processing and transfer to Basundari. With traffic in the afternoon, it takes about 2.5 ours from the airport. You may choose to arrive a day early and stay at a local hotel (not included). This can be a lovely transition after a long travel day.

BASUNDARI CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES
Check in will begin at 3:00 pm on June 14, 2027. Plan to arrive by 5:00 pm. Check out is by 11:00 on June 20, 2027. Use these dates and times when booking your flights.
WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Our private chef makes it easy for you to enjoy delicious, healthy meals. Dietary needs can be accommodated without sacrificing variety or taste, vegan, vegetarian and omnivore. Using fresh organic, local & seasonal high-quality ingredients.
You can share restrictions on the intake form that will be sent in the month leading out to our retreat together and we will make sure you are taken care of!
ENTRY INTO BALI- REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
IMPORTANT- DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE GROUP
MINIMUM HAS BEEN MET.
A passport that is valid for at least 6 months after
your planned departure date.
A roundtrip ticket or a purchased ticket to another destination if you are extending your trip to another
country for VOA or eVisa holders.
Visa (can purchase upon arrival for $35 and any
necessary health forms, if required.
Bali requires all travelers to complete an
Electronic Customs Declaration form 3 (three) days
before travel. You must have the QR code ready for scanning when requested.
Bali Tourist Levy, a $10 mandatory charge for all international visitors entering the province of Bali, Indonesia.
NOTE: These are shared as a courtesy. Dragonfly is
not responsible or required to share requirements
for traveling to/from Bali. Kindly do your own
research.
LOCAL CURRENCY
Indonesian Rupiah- IDR
Local businesses are set up to pay with a credit card.
You will want to have local currency for tips, any add-on excursions, etc.
Plan on exchanging cash into local currency at the airport or with your bank ahead of time so you are able to fully enjoy all the experiences you want.

A heartfelt note as you prepare for Bali
I am beyond excited for you to experience the magic of Bali. I just returned from hosting a retreat there in September, and my heart is still overflowing. The openness, vulnerability, kindness, and connection that unfolded among our retreat sisters was something I will never forget. Bali has a way of softening you, opening you, and letting your inner light shine even brighter.
The Balinese people are truly some of the kindest souls on earth. We felt profoundly welcomed and cared for — from our cultural ceremonies and temple visits to walking the serene rice fields and swimming beneath waterfalls. Every moment felt sacred, nourishing, and held with genuine love.
This retreat you’re stepping into with Alexis carries that same spirit. A space where new friendships blossom, where inner transformation feels natural, and where the beauty of Bali wraps around you like a warm embrace.
